HOW DOES IT WORK
Here I will describe what happen when you get your RPM meter work correctly
As you switch on the CBRPM it will start the check-up mode, all the lights will be turn on in sequence
This let you know if all the LEDs work fine !
After this step the "warning lights" will show you the functioning mode, at the start only the first of them will be
ON, from this time you can change the functioning mode by pressing the button (you cannot mistake there's just
ONE !) the "warning lights" will show you the mode number !
There are 2 public modes:
- Full Screen mode (it works like a Stereo V-Meter)
- One Light for time (only the lights, near the actual RPM, is ON)
And there are 3 private modes (this mean that only "ME" can have them ! I am the OWNER I can do what I want !) :
- One Light for time with RED Zone (like the mode 2 but in the RED Zone like mode 1)
- All the lights will turn on together when the gear must be changed !
- This is my personal Mode where I can do everything I WANT, I can change the range of view (no more from 1000 to 13000, but from 7000 to 12000 so I can have 200 rpm of resolution or from 8000 to 14500, etc., etc.)
In mode 1 and 3 the warning lights will turn on if the RPM reach the RED Zone, in mode 2 they joke !
As you could see in the schematic sheet there's a button on the circuit, it is usefull to debug the system,
if you keep pressed the button while you turn on the circuit, it will start in debug mode, this mean that the RPM
meter will increase in automatic mode showing you how it will work
Stop now.
If someone will realize this circuit he could contact me for further infos (like they say on CNN TV)
